Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies
and the Role of SERTs (Spiritual, Existential, Religious, Theological)
Participants will gain an understanding of the rationale for integrating spiritual, existential, religious, and theological (CERT) dimensions into psychedelic-assisted therapies, and the historical and cultural contexts that shape these approaches.
Participants will explore a triadic model of care linking spiritual health clinicians, mental health professionals, and care seekers in addressing CERT-related experiences.
Participants will apply concepts to identify and evaluate potential spiritual or existential adverse events during psychedelic-assisted therapies.
