Course objectives

A one-hour presentation clearly and concisely summarizing Dr. Strohmaier's two research projects on the relationship between mindfulness dose and outcome

  • Participants will gain a foundational understanding of what constitutes a “dose” in mindfulness programs and how varying doses (e.g., session length, frequency) influence outcomes.

  • Participants will explore empirical findings on length of mindfulness practice and single-session mindfulness to evaluate the dose-response relationship.

  • Understand why sometimes less is more.
