Jennifer Freyd, PhD

Jennifer Joy Freyd is Professor Emerit of Psychology at the University of Oregon, and Founder and President of the Center for Institutional Courage. Freyd is best known for her theories of betrayal trauma, institutional betrayal, DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender) and institutional courage.
