Sofia May is an award-winning, NYC-raised stand-up comedian based in Berlin and the primary whistleblower behind the exposé on Lama Tsultrim Allione’s high-control group, Tara Mandala. A former assistant to Allione, Sofia went public in Be Scofield’s investigative report and has shared her story on platforms like A Little Bit Culty and Cults to Consciousness. She is also the creator of the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe stand-up show about coercive control, The Buddha Wears Prada.
