Understand the signs of dissociation, how it is understood in cultural context, and what factors exacerbate and perpetuate dissociation.
Participants will be able to define dissociation
Participants know how to compare hyperarousal and dissociation symptoms
Participants will be able to list the signs of depersonalization and to describe the neural correlates of dissociation
Participants will be able to describe at least 2 factors and 2 common catastrophic thoughts that perpetuate dissociation
Participants will be able to name at least one specific therapeutic approach that targets each perpetuating factor
